Work on new Klineline Bridge begins April 14

Replacement of Clark County’s least stable bridge gets under way this month with a $9.2 million project slated to be completed by October.

The Klineline Bridge, which carries Highway 99 over Salmon Creek, closed in December after inspectors deemed it unsafe. This month, county officials awarded a bid to a Longview firm, Ostrander Rock and Construction, to replace the bridge in 160 work days. Read More...

I can't wait for the bridge to re open. The traffic on 134th Street is proving to be quite a nightmare. -- Garlic Goldie
